What is ADHD?
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a mental health disorder which is characterized by hyperactivity, inattention, and impulsivity. People with ADHD have difficulty focusing on tasks, are easily distracted and often struggle with rejection. Symptoms of ADHD can vary from person to person, but they can include difficulty sustaining attention, impulsivity, restlessness and difficulty controlling emotions. It’s important to remember that everyone experiences some of these symptoms from time to time; however if they are persistent or disruptive enough to interfere with daily activities then it may be a sign of ADHD.
